I have a sql test box with the latest SSMS 2016 version installed. ( I use it as my sql Management "pane of glass"). Connecting to other sql servers via SSMS 2016 via Windows auth works fine BUT connecting with sql authentication takes anywhere from 20-40 seconds to complete. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this, much appreciated.
