I think i have already posted similar Query in the recent past, but however i didn't get an complete Answer to my post . so would like to post this in more brief way .
I started encrypting the Column DOB , with datatype datetype , and the table has many other columns,w hich i am not focousing now , and the total rows is around 2000.
When i follow the below steps and try to configure , i end up with error, saying system out of memory , where as i have ample amount of memory in my system and allocated to sql as well.
Can you please suggest me how to proceed with , if you can show me some best URL is also fine
I did so far is
1. create master key in that DB
2. create column key
3. log in to security folder in that DB then click on encryption button , and follow the wizard
4. After following the last slide will be taking one hour , end up with Error saying system out of memory erro .
Can you please help me to have a smooth flow of creation .
