We are evaluating options to consolidate our existing infrastructure to SQL Server cluster solution.
We couldn't find good reference materials on impact of placing TempDB on local SSD vs Shared SAN?.
How does it affect the fail-over scenario recovery timelines?. Does having TempDB locally increase the fail over time because inflight transactions needs to be committed or rolled back.
Your help is much appreciated.
