I installed SQL Server 2012 Standard on a trial basis. I received notice that the trial period expired.
I attempted to uninstall the product using Windows uninstall. The uninstall process hung.
I attempted to repair the installation. I ran the SQL Server 2012 installation program as administrator. I selected the repair option. 80% of the way through the repair process, I receive the message "Could not find the Database Engine startup handle". There is NOTHING on the web that is relevant to SQL Server 2012 and this error message.
How do I get SQL Server 2012 off my computer?
Thanks in advance ...
