Hi, I have a server running an evaluation copy of SQL server 2008 R2. Unfortunately, the evaluation period has expired. We would like to carry on using this server without the need to reinstall SQL. I have a license key to activate the product but am not
sure how to perform the activation. I've tried booting from the SQL CD (with the built in product key) and selected the option to perform an edition upgrade. However, although the process completes the application still reports that the evaluation period has
expired and fails to run. Any ideas ? Thanks. Simon.
