Hello, we are upgrading our critical production SQL environment from 2008 to 2016. The SQL Server is heavily used for a critical application. Both versions are enterprise edition. I am getting prepared as to what kind of issues can be expected post upgrade. If we run into any performance issues after the upgrade, when can I decide to change the DB compatibility mode to 2008? Can you please share your experiences & also any reference articles I can refer for troubleshooting any performance issues post upgrade.
If I run into any performance issues, I will need to fix them asap as it's a very critical environment.
