Office Accounting 2009 SQL Server 2008 - Can this work?

Hi,

We have a client who is running a networked installation of Office Accounting 2009 and they do not want to change this to other accounts software as the linking with Office products works well for them.

This is currently installed on a single server running SBS 2003 with SQL Server 2005 standard and as I say it runs fine.

The client now wants to look at a new server (just due to age of old one) and is interested in SBS 2011.

Advice on that forum is that we could have two boxes, one with SBS 2011 and a separate one running SQL Server 2005, but the question is whether anyone knows if Office Accounting can be made to run on SQL Server 2008 R2 (32 bit I guess) as that way we keep it all up to date?

Ridesy
