Unable to complete configuration of new installation MSSQL Server 2017 on Ubuntu 18.04

All been working fine for about half a year and then suddenly stopped working: I was not able to login into the server.

I tried reinstalling the software, but wahtever I tried stopped at this point:

Configuration simply denied chose me any edition. What should I do here? Any help is appreciated!!!
