We have configured Windows Failover Cluster with Windows 2016 VMs. All the disks for SQL DBs and logs will configured with in CSVs (the VMs are placed with HV 2012 R2 clustered hosts). With earlier / previous SQL installation we kept DBs & Log folders with disks partitioned with 64 KB. We are looking for a clarification for the CSVs as well disks within the VMs to be formatted, whether it should be the default 4K or 64 K?
