I am trying to Install MS SQL 2016 onto a Windows 2016 Server. I need to use Latin1_General_BIN collation as required by the software vendor. When I have that selected the Installation bombs. If I use the default collation SQL 2016 installs just fine.
If I attempt to change the collation after the default it says that that collation is depracated or unsupported. It does show being supported. Anyone else run into this problem?
