Creating Login using SQL Server PowerShell

Hello,

I want to create a user and assign the user permissions to a VIEW in SQL Server 2008. I opened the Power Shell Script Editor. I see the following prompt when I first open the Power Shell Editor,

PS SQLServer:\SQL\machinename\Default\Logins>

How do I configure SQL Server. What do I type before creating a login or granting user access to the VIEW.
