Trying to uninstall a SQL 2008 R2 cluster instance from a production two node Windows Server 2008 R2 SQL cluster. I'm using the SQL installation CD, selecting "Remove node from a SQL Server failover cluster" under Maintenance. Performed on the passive node first and I received a blank list to choose from as shown in attached screen shot. I then failed the instance over to try from the other Window cluster node, however I achieved the same results. Any ideas? I have 8 SQL Clustered instance running on these two nodes.
