running essentials 2012 R2 and want to install an application that requires sql server express. not sure i can use the internal one or not. that said if i want to replace it with express how would i do that? is it even possible? assume its handling some IIS stuff, AD, guessing backup info of my computers. like to replace it with express and then remove the internal db. assume it wouldnt be prudent to have both running if they could.
thoughts?
