Please let me know whether
1. SQL Server 2008 /2008 R2 which types of support is ended. Whether we can continue using SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2 or it has to be upgraded, because some applications are still compatible with SQL Server 2008 only and not higher version. Please share

2. Suppose we have SQL Serve 2016 Enterprise Edition License. Downgrade rights are available or not for installation SQL Server 2014 Enterprise Edition Core- base, SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition Core-base , SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition and SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition.
