I have a pc, win 7 enterprise sp1 64 bit. when I TRY TO INSTALL ssms sql 2016, i get a question do I want to run. after clicking yes, nothing happens, no error message, nothing in the event viewer. I tried running as administrator, same result. I have userd the same source file successfully on other machines.
how can I get it to work? is there a log file somewhere recording why it fails to begin?
