We are running SQL Server 2012 on Windows 2012 and are unable to successfully apply SP3. We have tried running it though Windows Update and by downloading
it and launching it manually. When run it reports a failure leaving the SQL related services stopped and unable to be started.
The last time we tried this we started by first successfully installing all other pending Windows updates and restarting the server. Manually launching the
install resulted in the following:
