I purchased SQL Server 2014 Developer from the Microsoft store (Order number: 10451132911, Order date: March 28, 2016). I tried to install it today and the install failed. Error: “The cabinet file ‘SQL.cab’ required for this installation is corrupt and cannot
be used.”
Computer: HP Envy running Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64 bit).
Note: I am a developer. I have SQL Server 2012 installed on this computer and it runs well. I have Visual Studio Community 2015 installed also runs without issue.
