It's the second time that I try to install SS2014 Developer Edition on my Asus i7 with Windows 10.
After a 45 minutes processing, the installation ends with the message "impossible to find the Database Engine Startup Handle"
Always received that error.
Everything started with an unsuccessful installation of Service Pack 3 onto SS2012 (developer edition too), perfectly functioning before. In that case, the Update didn't even start: wanted a MSI package from the previous SP that didn't find either.
So, having bought also SS2014 (developer edition) I uninstalled SS2012. Could not afford to have 3 Sql Server on the machine (fortunately, at least, I have SS2008R2 also).
I have just googled about this problem and found many cases with the same issue.
Is there somebody that has a solution - more viable of the tricky ones presented there - to this problem ?
