I have been unable to install the SQL Server 2008 SP2 upgrade on a named instance on my Windows Server 2003 R2 box. I ran the automatic update and it upgraded the default instance, but failed on the named instance.
I downloaded the update file (KB2285068) manually from the web and got the same result. I've tried running the repair on the instance, but I get the same error. I've searched all over the web, but I cannot find anything on this error.
