SQL Server Service Pack upgrade Successful But Product level from SSMS shows older version

Hi Techies,

Recently we have upgraded service pack of SQL server 2008R2 from SP1 to SP3 and the upgrade was successful. Post upgrade we have restarted the Windows box as per the pop up that we got.

After the server came back online we connected to SSMS and queried the product level and surprisingly it still shows older version (10.50.4000)

I have checked the registry keys for 'current version' and 'setup' in regedit and they all show up the new version which is of SP3 (10.50.6000.34)

We have two SQL server 2012 and one SQL server 2008R2 stand alone instances on the same box. SQL server 2012 upgrade was successful and SSMS shows the latest SP and Version.

Unfortunately the upgrade was done in March 2015 and we do not have any error logs of SQL server. Still we have summary.txt and all the related upgrade logs.

Can someone help on fixing this.

Regards, Ananth Kamath
