I recently purchased SQL Server 2008 R2 Developer. I am trying to install it on Windows 7 (64-bit Operating System). It is running on Parallels VM under MAC OS. When I click on setup.exe I get the following message:
"This SQL Server Setup media is not supported on a X64 system. To continue run the SQL Server Setup that matches your system. Is there another SQL Server Developer product that I should be using instead? I contacted the MS sales on Chat and was directed to MSDN forums.
