Can Anyone help us please?
We are upgrading from SQL Server 2005 Express Addition to SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition. We would have chosen the SQL 2008 Express Edition, but we feel that 1GB RAM is slightly limited and would rather upgrade to a version more robust and faster.
We ordered Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition for Small Business. When we recieved the parcel we only had the license and no media. Obviously the seal is broken, so no return. Is there any way we can download the media from a reliable internet source.
We are told from our supplier that we should have ordered the product that had media included for an extra $50, but did not know that SQL media was not provided with license.
Any ideas as to where we can go without purchasing a new copy "with media"?
