There is a bug in your SQL (Express) installers regarding language constellations:
I'm from switzerland (german speaking part of our country) and so our computers run with language format German (Switzerland).
Every time i try to install the german version of SQL Express (in new 2012, but the bug is in 2008 R2 also) i've got an error regarding wrong language package.
So i've got to switch langauge format to German (Germany), install SQL and then switch back to German (Switzerland) to install SQL sucessfully. Problem occurs again when a Windows Update for SQL is available, Windows Update fails every time until i switch to German (Germany) again and run Windows Updates. And after successful update i can switch back to German (Switzerland). I believe that's a problem other countries which such langauge constellations will also have (Austria with German (Austria), or e.g. Argentinia with Spanish (Argentinia), French (Switzerland) and some more.......)
