Installing Different instances of SQL Server on the same server

Dear All

Can anyone tell me if there are any outstanding issue installing SQL 2005 on a server with SQL 2012 on it ?

The reason is we want to use that instance as a distributor (replication) where the Publisher is on a 2005 box and the subscriber on a 2005 box.

There is currently a bug if you try and create it from 2005 onto a 2012 box.
