I am trying to do an in-place upgrade from:
- SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express Edition with Advanced Services
to:
- SQL Server 2012 SP1
but it fails with the following error:
- Rule "SQLServer 2012 Feature Upgrade" failed. The specified edition upgrade is not supported. For information about supported upgrade paths, see the SQL Server 2012 version and edition upgrade in Books Online.
I would like to upgrade to an evaluation edition of SQL Server 2012.
