We had a server fail which was running a named instance of SQL 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 Server SP4. I've removed the SQL install, deleted all the SQL Server program and data files (have backups), cleaned up the registry, however, all subsequent attempts
to re-install this named instance fails with ODBC Server Server Driver errors. Installations of default or OTHER named instances are successful. What am I missing that prevents me from reinstalling the same named instance as previouslyt existed?
