Unable to create instance in SQL Express 2008 R2 in Win 8

Hi,

On of my customer install the SQL Express 2008 R2 in Win 8 successfully but cannot create instance. When I take a look in the log file, I can see the followings (I wonder why MSDN does not allow me to upload the whole file content):

"Package version data are " Installed Version: 10.52.4000.0 MinVersion: 10.0.1400 MaxVersion: 10.50.1599.1"

But this is strange that I can install the SQL Express 2008 R2 in other Win 8 machines. Does any one know how can this be solved?
