i am having a requirement to upgrade sql server 2008 to sql 2008 r2 without losing content in the sql 2008.
its a content database of sharepoint 2010.
due to some issues, i was forced to take a decision to move the content db of sp 2010 from sql 2008 r2 to sql 2008.
pls help, how can i upgrade without losing content.
i tried with taking the backup from sql 2008 r2 and restored it in sql 2008.
and i tried with generates scripts option and ran that ssis package but in vain.!
is there any free tools are available to upgrade to sql 2008 R2 without losing any content.
