IN our production servers cpu consumption by SQL server 2008r2 is increasing and it reached 99% today. We want to restrict the cpu usage by sql server. Can anyone suggest the best way to restrict the cpu usage in sql server?
Can i reduce the max memory value? or use resource governor?
