unable to add a data connection to SQL Server 2005 within Visual Studio 2008

I am running Visual Studio 2008 (Version 9.0.30729.1 SP) on a Windows Vista Business 64 bit workstation.

When trying to add a connection to one of my SQL Server 2005 databases I always get the following error message:

Unable to add data connection.

Could not load file or assembly

'Microsoft.Sqlserver.Management.Sdk.Sfc, Version=10.0.0.0,

Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its

dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I really have no idea why I'm getting this error message.

Testing the connection to the SQL Server database ran fine.

ANY HELP IS MOST APPRECIATED!

Thanks...
