Hello everyone,
I wanna install SQL server 2012 Entreprise edition but I have an issue during the installation. (ISO 4.9Go)
I'm working on a Win 7 OS, i5, x64, sp1.
First, I've installed on my computer this edition, any problem. I used Deamon Tool. Then, I tried to install it on my laptop and it doesn't work. After installing rules this error comes up :
SQL server setup has encoutered the following error:
There was a failure to calculate the default value of setting INSTANCEID.
Error code 0x85640001.
I thought it was a corruption issue, I've re-downloaded the ISO, same problem. I've changed DeamonTool to Winrar, same problem.
I've downloaded another version of SQL Server (developer this time) and again same error!
Now, I don't know what can i do =/
Help me please.
