Hello!
Is it always advisable to apply every service pack to SQL Server as it's released even if it's optional? If so, it is a good idea to test it on a non-prod server first? If we read what the SP contains and we don't have any of the problems it fixes, does that change whether we apply it or not? I'm having a debate with a network administrator who says apply all immediately. if he's right, I'll change my ways to his ways.
Thanks.
